Power Spectral Density of Noise Background at GSN stations

In the figures below, the black dots are plots of the individual station 1st-percentile spectral estimates of vertical components. The blue line is the GSN 1st-percentile noise model. The red line is represents the GSN median noise model. 95% of the GSN has lower spectral estimates than this curve.

Only those stations for which the IRIS DMC had over 50% of the data for the year July 2001 through June 2002 are included in this study.
