Telemetry was restored without any actions taken at the station.

Telemetry to the station has been down since October 2021.  IDA engineers are working with the station operator to resolve.

The infrasound channels started excessively gapping on day 2020,035 due to suspected issues with the QEP.

2019.10.29

The station operator visited the station and replaced both Q330 digitizers with new digitizers shipped from UCSD.  There is a data acquisition issue for the weather station channels.

2017.07.29

New IDA station KWJN installed on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands with two Q330HR data acquisition systems.  Sensors installed include a Streckeisen STS-5A broadband sensor, a Nanometrics Trillium 120 Posthole broadband sensor, a Kinemetrics Episensor strong motion sensor, Hyperion Infrasound sensor, and ParoScientific and Setra barometers.

Telemetry to the station was intermittently down since day 2017,081.  IDA engineers visited the station, confirmed the station is up, and restored telemetry.

The station is back online day 2017,118-17:31 after the station operator rebooted the firewall, and a hung data acquisition process was restarted.

An IDA engineer is currently on-site upgrading the station to a Quanterra Q330HR system. Sensors include STS-2 and Trillium seismometers, and a strong motion sensor.

The station was down from about day 2009,049 to 2009,057 due to problems with the power inverter. Data acquisition was restored after the station operator cycled power to the inverter.

An IDA engineer visited the station and restored telemetry and communication between the ISP and the DAS. There is a faulty Amplifier Filter Unit at the station that will be replaced to bring the station back online.

2006.08.19

The station is down as of about day 231-08:02 (Aug.19) due to communication problems between the DAS and the ISP.

2006.08.11

The station is back up after an IDA engineer visited the site and repaired the station uplink and power converter, and replaced circuit boards in the DAS. The STS-1 sensor is disconnected and is being shipped to UCSD for testing and repair.

The station is down due to communication problems between the ISP and DAS.

The vertical channels from the STS-1 seismometer are out as of 059-07:16 due to problems with the seismometer that are yet to be determined.

2005.01.27

The wdo channel data is normal again after an IDA engineer visited the station and replaced the microbarometer. During this visit the UPS batteries, and ISP were also replaced.

There is a gap in data from Sept. 3 to Sept. 7 due to problems with the ISP. Data acquisition resumed when the station operator rebooted the ISP. There are still problems with the ISP display and a replacement is being prepared to send to the station. The wdo channel data is incorrect for reasons yet to be determined.
