IDA engineers visited the station and replaced the KS54000 seismometer with a Trillium 360 borehole sensor on day 2023,331 (Nov.27).

IDA station SHEL has been upgraded to a Quanterra Q330HR system.
Seismometers include KS-54000, Trillium, and an Episensor strong motion sensor,
and Setra and Paroscientific microbarometers.

IDA station SHEL is back on-line as of 2013,004-17:46 after the station operator cycled power to the DAS.

IDA station SHEL is down as of day 2012,365-12:37 due to problems with the DAS. The station operator has been requested to cycle power to the DAS.

IDA station SHEL was down from day 2012,009-16:00 to 2012,012-05:48 due to problems with the DAS. Normal data acquisition resumed after the station operator cycled power to the DAS.

The station is back on-line after the station operator replaced the remote power supply on day 2011,100-09:40.

The station is down as of day 2011,012-13:55 due to communication problems between the DAS and the ARS caused by failure of the remote power supply.

The East-West channels from the KS-54000 seismometer were restored on day 2010,233 after the station operator replaced the faulty circuit board in the DAS.

The station is back on-line after the station operator pulled the faulty RT303 circuit board from the DAS. Currently there are no East-West channels from the KS-54000 seismometer. A replacement circuit board has been shipped to the station.

The station is down as of day 2010,179, following a scheduled power outage, due to problems with a circuit board in the DAS.

The station operator had to shut down the station temporarily due to severe power surges and power problems in the area. Once work was completed to resolve the power problems, the station operator brought the station back on-line.

The vertical channels from the KS-54000 seismometer were non-seismic from about day 2008,088-12:27 to 2008,095-00:26. The channels were restored after a warm reboot of the DAS.

IDA station SHEL was down from about day 2008,092-19:06 to 2008,093-18:35 due to a power outage caused by a storm. Data acquisition was restored after the power was restored and the station operator cycled power to the DAS.

The vertical channels from the KS-54000 seismometer were non-seismic from day 2007,235-23:44 to 2007,242-15:31. The channels were restored after a warm reset of the DAS.

The BBZ channels from the KS-54000 seismometer were out from day 300-14:06 to day 303-22:54. The vertical channels were restored following a DAS reboot.
